The first International Festival - Forum: "Rural Tourism in Russia," which will be held from 6 to 9 June 2012 in the Altai region.

The festival will bring together Russian and foreign experience in different areas and types of rural tourism. Participants of the festival at the booths set up their materials on rural tourism, will share the secrets of crafts, other national and cultural heritage.

Festival guests can take part in master classes in various areas of rural tourism and handicrafts. The educational seminars will be attended by professionals of rural tourism, experienced owners of rural estates, as well as novice farmers. At the round table for everyone will have the opportunity to participate in the discussion of a wide range of development issues of rural tourism and alternative employment in rural areas.

Competition for the best agrousadbu announced in Gomel region. This was reported by the chief specialist of the department of physical culture, sport and tourism of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee Tatiana Petina. The competition will take place in five categories: "Saving the Belarusian tradition," "Healthy Lifestyle", "Hospitality," "Green House", "Style and harmony." Participants will evaluate the criteria such as the number of services, comfortable way of life and infrastructure, developed travel routes.

"In each category there are different criteria of evaluation, but I note that in the past year our competitors on the same national contest proved to be the strongest in the" Conservation of the Belarusian traditions "(estate of" Lost Paradise "Zhitkovichi district and village" St. Nicholas Island "Svetlogorskgo area) and "Style and harmony" (manor "Pansky garden" Mozyr district). A total of 2011 regional stage of the competition for the best agrousadbu gathered over 40 participants, "- added Tatiana Petina.
